The title “Practicing” referred to Zoro — and the cover page even featured King, the first enemy Zoro defeated with Conqueror’s Haki imbued.
The time for Zoro to master Conqueror’s Haki is clearly drawing near.
My Chapter 1194 prediction: Zoro vs. Sommers continues, probably with the same title.
Looking back at how many chapters Zoro’s past major fights have lasted:
- vs. Mr. 1 (Daz Bonez) “Cutting Steel” — 2 chapters
- “Pirate Zoro vs. Warrior Braham” — 1 chapter
- “Pirate Zoro vs. Priest Ohm” — 1 chapter
- vs. Kaku — 2 chapters
- “Pirate Zoro vs. Samurai Ryuma” — 1 chapter
- vs. Pica — 2 chapters
- vs. King — 1 chapter
That’s an average of 1.4 chapters per win.
Interestingly: Daz = one-sword style, Braham = one-sword, Ohm = three-sword, Kaku = nine-sword, Ryuma = one-sword, Pica = three-sword, King = three-sword. One-sword finishes are surprisingly common.
Zoro is still aiming for the heart. In Chapter 1193 he was already going for a one-sword thrust — so the Sommers finish could well be a piercing technique with a single blade.
