Omen

Shaping a hand into a gun barrel to fire rapid-fire like a gatling, blasting like a cannon, then redistributing it to Somers and Kirinagum like a healing spell — Omen (魔気) is turning out to be quite a versatile power.
The healing application is reminiscent of Big Mom’s Soul-Soul Fruit.

Im’s Strength

Im comes across as harsh toward enemies but warm toward subordinates.
Zoro’s slash imbued with Conqueror’s Haki was casually stopped with a tail. Sanji’s kick was also blocked.
Watching both of the Straw Hats’ wings have their signature techniques deflected so effortlessly — Im clearly operates in a completely different tier in both swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat.
Im’s counter-kick at Sanji also appeared to be imbued with Omen, with each strike exploding in dark flames.
Swordsmanship beyond Zoro, combat beyond Sanji, and Omen fired in rapid bursts like bullets or cannon blasts at power that surpasses Luffy’s Gatling and Bazooka combined — this week was clearly designed to establish that Im is overwhelmingly stronger than the Straw Hats’ top three.
Loki Controls Fire Too

Since Luffy was complaining about it, the ingredient that got scorched must have been the doing of Loki or Ragnir’s power, right?
Fire in addition to lightning and ice? The older theory about Ragnir having five elemental attributes might not be entirely dead yet.
Cover Page Theory

The cover page request: “Vegapunk has enabled Zeus to make it rain candy.”
Candy rain — that calls to mind the Whole Cake Island arc, when cotton candy fell like snow during Sanji’s transport.

As mentioned at the start of this article, Im’s abilities bear a resemblance to Big Mom’s. And the declaration Loki made to Im sounds strikingly like the challenge Luffy once threw at Big Mom.

So the cover illustration is a self-homage to the cotton-candy snowfall of Whole Cake Island. A sweet send-off.
The Horror Film The Omen — Genuinely Terrifying
Im’s power, Omen (魔気), I believe takes its name directly from this film.
A child of the devil, marked with the number 666 on their head — and the string of supernatural events that unfold around them. The Omen is frequently called one of the greatest horror films ever made. Absolutely worth checking out.
That’s all for today. See you next week.
