The Heirloom Passed Down Through Vibro’s Family

In Chapter 1191, what Vibro told Chopper was: “Open the box hidden in the back room — it contains a ‘letter’ and ‘tool’ passed down through my family for generations.”

As explored in our theory that Mosa-ko is Shirahoshi, the Elbaph arc contains many homages to the Fish-Man Island arc.

So it seems highly likely that Vibro’s ‘letter’ and ‘tool’ are also Fish-Man Island homages.

When It Comes to Fish-Man Island and a ‘Letter’…

‘Fish-Man Island’ + ‘letter’ immediately calls to mind Joy Boy’s apology letter.

The person Joy Boy was apologizing to was probably the previous Mermaid Princess. Perhaps it involved a romantic entanglement or love triangle connected to Im.

So perhaps the letter Vibro inherited was also written by Joy Boy.

If so, and its contents relate to the cause of the great war that occurred during the Void Century, the story would advance in one dramatic leap.

Could the Treasure Box Contain That Secret Medicine?

The huge treasure box that Vibro urgently asked Chopper to open — if it’s a Fish-Man Island homage, could it be like the ‘Tamate Box’ (Treasure Box)?

The original contents of the Tamate Box on Fish-Man Island were a medicine that temporarily boosts power in exchange for years of one’s life — but since Hody stole it, a bomb was placed inside as a thief deterrent.

If the contents of Vibro’s box are a power-boosting secret medicine, it could have an effect similar to Chopper’s Rumble Ball.

The people on the scene are Chopper and Robin — both Devil Fruit users who haven’t yet awakened their abilities.

So it’s possible that Vibro’s secret medicine could trigger both of their Devil Fruit awakenings and power them up.

I’ve theorized before that Chopper’s awakened form might be Cernunnos and Robin’s might be Hecatoncheir.

Or Perhaps… an Ancient Weapon

If it’s been passed down through Vibro’s ancestors for generations, it could be something made 900 years ago when Emet was created — or even older.

Ancient scientific technology was so advanced that even Vegapunk couldn’t replicate it, and Emet was made with that ancient science.

If the box contains a weapon or tool made with technology from Emet’s era or earlier, that would also be a Fish-Man Island homage.

Speaking of Fish-Man Island, it was the first place General Franky made its debut.

Before merging, Chopper standing proudly at the helm of Brachio Tank V — saluting happily — was quite the image.

So if what’s inside Vibro’s treasure box is an ancient weapon, we might just get to see a happily-saluting Commander Chopper again.
