One Piece Chapter 1152: Loki Is Odin — Biblo, Conqueror’s Haki, and Elbaf’s Time Warp

A Giant Like Oars

Yamato’s Cover Page Series Vol. 36: “Delivery complete: Otama’s sedge hat to Daimyo Kawamatsuno of Hakunai!”

Last chapter’s cover — Yamato throwing the sumo champion Sukune — was a homage to the Oars-gets-launched scene in Thriller Bark.

Chaining off the keyword “Oars”:

The cover was signaling: “The flashback of a colossal giant like Oars is about to begin.”

The Holy Knights’ Weakness Is Conqueror’s Haki

To deal damage to the Holy Knights, attacks imbued with Conqueror’s Haki appear to be mandatory. That confirms Gaban as a Conqueror’s Haki user.

Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban — all three of the Roger Pirates’ top tier had Conqueror’s Haki.

And the Rocks Pirates had at least four: Whitebeard, Kaido, Big Mom, and almost certainly Rocks himself. Remarkable.

For the Straw Hats to surpass both those crews, they probably need around five Conqueror’s Haki users. Sanji will get there through sheer stubbornness eventually.

That Ability Could Bring Loki on Board

Luffy invited Loki to join the crew, but as Zoro and Sanji pointed out, the size difference makes sharing the Sunny physically impossible — at first glance.

But if Mosa-ko’s true identity is Biblo, that problem disappears. Biblo is a bird who awakened the Iku Iku no Mi (Grow-Grow Fruit), which can enlarge inorganic objects.

Inorganic here means objects without life force — so the Sunny, and even Sanji’s food, could theoretically be enlarged. With Biblo, Loki could come along.

With Biblo on board, bringing Loki along as a crewmate becomes entirely possible.

And a Loki accompanied by a bird of knowledge and wisdom becomes Odin himself.

Loki Is Odin — and an Upgrade of Lord

If Mosa-ko is truly Biblo and becomes Loki’s trusted companion, the dynamic would mirror Odin — the supreme god of Norse mythology — and his ravens Huginn and Muninn.

Furthermore, in my prediction, Loki ate the Snake-Snake Mythical Zoan fruit modeled on Jörmungandr. That means:

  • Loki, who called himself the Sun God
  • Loki, who is believed to be a serpent-type Devil Fruit user
  • Loki, whose companion is a bird like Huginn and Muninn

All of these make Loki a complete upgrade of Lord.

Lord, who called himself the Sun God and had a crow named Mugin, was referencing Odin’s ravens Huginn and Muninn — combining both names into one. Huginn means “thought” and Muninn means “memory.”

Biblo is master of a library — making him a bird of thought and memory in the most literal sense.

Lord also named his snake Hiru (Daytime) Mungand — the opposite of Loki’s likely ability, Yoru (Night) Mungand.

Staying Too Long in Elbaf

For Gaban, a ten-year reunion with Shanks felt like only a third of that. This is probably why one should not linger in Elbaf.

Living among giants — whose lifespan is three times a human’s — recalibrates your sense of time. Three years starts to feel like one.

Like Urashima Taro at Ryugu Castle.

That is why Fishman Island keeps coming up. And it is why Shirahoshi and Loki will grow close. A perfect pairing.

  • Fishman Island and Elbaf — both modeled on the Urashima Tarō legend
  • Treasure Tree Adam and Sun Tree Eve
  • A giant prince and a giant princess
  • A mermaid and a snake-type beast-human — both with sinuous lower bodies
  • A prince who calls himself the Sun God and a princess who longs for the Sun
  • A prince saved by an axe-wielder and a princess who was repeatedly attacked by axes

“That looks like Wapol.”

Will the Drum Kingdom homage resume next week?

Shanks’ left-arm tattoo — not the World Government flag, not the cross from Kuma’s church. I’ll think about that another time.

And with that, we’re done for today. See you next week.
