Giants have three times the lifespan of humans, so dividing a giant’s real age by three gives you the human equivalent in appearance.
For example, Gerz is currently 75 years old. 75 ÷ 3 = 25 — so he looks roughly 25. Hyrdlin is 81, putting his appearance at about 27.
Ripley looks a little older than Gerz — maybe around 28 in appearance? That would put her real age at around 84.
In that case, even Rayleigh and Garp (both around 78) could qualify as her “younger husband.”
