The Cover Story Prediction Hits the Mark!

Yamato’s Cover Story Vol.17: “Fell Asleep and Got My Sword Stolen”
While Yamato and Otama napped, a shadow stole Kozuki Oden’s sword! This is clearly a Robin homage. Here’s why:

I can call this prediction completely accurate! This confirms the theory that “Yamato’s Cover Story is a digest of Luffy’s adventures.” So next up should be a Franky homage.
Yaruru the Mountain Beard (408 Years Old)

Gerz said, “I’ll tell Yaruru-sama on you!” Yaruru was 345 years old when he appeared in Big Mom’s backstory 63 years ago — 63 + 345 = 408 years old now!
He should be able to share all kinds of stories from 400 years ago. And 400 years ago is around the time Noland’s sailing log was written — did Yaruru and Noland ever cross paths?

A Message Only Crewmates Would Understand Message from Vivi

After leaving Wano, the crew read a newspaper and learned the news — throwing them into a panic. Then the newspaper reporting the Egghead incident carried a hidden message from Vivi: proof of her survival and her location.
This is a homage to 3D2Y. Only crewmates who fought together in Alabasta would recognize the meaning of the ✕ mark on the left arm.
- Revolution Army declares war on the World Nobles
- Chief of Staff Sabo allegedly assassinates King Cobra of Alabasta
- His daughter, Princess Vivi, goes missing
- Vivi sends the Straw Hats proof of her survival
- She is with Morgan, who has the power to doctor newspapers

So the ✕ mark written on Luffy’s left arm in the newspaper carried two pieces of information aimed at the crew: Vivi is alive, and she is with Morgan — someone who defied the government by publishing Nika’s photo and is now on the run. Does this mean she’s trying to rendezvous with them?
The Royal Family of Elbaf and Norse Mythology

The name “Harald” is the Scandinavian pronunciation of the Elbaf king’s name — “Harald” in Swedish.
In actual history, the name Harald calls to mind two kings: Harald Fairhair, the first king to unify Norway, and Harald III Hardrada, known as the “Stern King.” Since Harald III is called “the last great king of the Viking Age,” the king of Elbaf — modeled on the Vikings — is likely based on Harald III.
So does that make Lego Kingdom Denmark and Elbaf proper Sweden? Or are we looking at borders from the Scandinavian era?
Harald’s biological son and crown prince of Elbaf is Loki. But Carsi said, “That one (Hyrdlin) is technically also ‘a child of the king.’”
Loki was born when Big Mom was in Elbaf 63 years ago. Which means King Harald may have gone a long time without an heir — similar to the Kozuki clan — and a retainer’s son was being prepared as the successor. Was Hyrdlin essentially already adopted as his heir?
That would make Loki and Hyrdlin half-brothers of a kind. And if so, does that mean Hyrdlin carries the attributes of Thor, god of thunder?
When it comes to Thor, the Disney film “Thor” based on Norse mythology is famous — in the films, Thor is Odin’s biological son and Loki is his adopted brother. But in the original Norse mythology, Loki is Odin’s sworn blood brother and Thor is his biological son — a more complex relationship.
It seems like Oda is mapping the nuanced dynamic between Odin, Thor, and Loki onto the relationship between King Harald, Hyrdlin, and Loki.
